Activity Block 2: Getting to know your producers, actors, and equipment (Scavenger Hunt)
Activity Block 3: The pitch, the plan & the people, including introduction to special effects and genres.
Activity Block 4: Script, support, storyboard, and structure
Day Two
Activity Block 1: Filming in the studio: telephone conversation
Activity Block 2: Introduction to film editing (split screen, cutaway, sound and video)
Activity Block 3: Filming on location: silent action
Activity Block 4: Editing the day's footage
Day Three
Activity Block 1: At the editor's desk: learning to add special effects with the green screen and Action Movie FX Activity Block 2: Shooting & editing special effect scenes
Activity Block 3: Movie Music Magic!
Activity Block 4: Back to the drawing board: script writing part 2
Day Four
Activity Block 1: Action and direction: filming face-to-face conversations
Activity Block 2: Precision editing and creating tension
Activity Block 3: Final scene filming: fine-tuning camera angles and editing possibilities
Activity Block 4: Wrapping up with the editors
Day Five
Activity Block 1: Adding in the extras: animation (opening and closing credits), background music composition Activity Block 2: Finalising and preparing for distribution, marketing, and the press
Film Festival begins at 2 pm
